ENAE 200 Instructor: Professional development course for aerospace engineering students at the sophomore level; course provides students with: an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility in the field; basic career development skills, and an ability begin a strategic plan for career as an aerospace engineer; a broad understanding of the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context; a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in, life-long learning; and a knowledge of contemporary issues as related to the aerospace profession. This course is presented through teaching methods of lectures, guided classroom discussions, case studies, guest speakers, and graded assignments such as essays and a career portfolio.
