Our Mission

• Provide the highest quality education in state-of-the-art aerospace engineering principles and practices at undergraduate and advanced degree levels and through continuing education programs for practicing engineers.
• Conduct research that will significantly advance the state of knowledge in the aerospace sciences and technologies.
• Advance aerospace engineering practice and education through publications in the engineering and educational literature and through close relations with industry, government and other academia.
• Contribute to the advancement of the College of Engineering, the University of Maryland, and the state of Maryland.
