The UMCP chapter of the AIAA is pleased to announce the creation of a new mentorship program. Designed to benefit Freshmen and those new to the aerospace engineering major at UMD, the program pairs new students with a Junior or Senior student who is prepared to answer questions about the major, give tips about classes (not necessarily homework help, but it doesn't hurt to ask), and just be available in the AIAA lounge. To sign up, send an email to Vice Chair Brian Donnelly.
If you are a Junior or Senior and wish to become involved, please also contact Brian. The first 25 mentors will be given free AIAA local membership for the year. We are asking that all mentors attend the AIAA Fall Picnic on Wednesday, September 20th (see below) to be available to talk to new students.

If you are a local member, you are eligible to request consideration for the use of one of the AIAA lockers that sits outside the lounge. A signup sheet on the wall of the lounge, just inside the door and to the right. Special consideration is given to commuter students and those willing to pair up for a locker. Sign up now, before the slots fill up!
