The A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland announces the Clark Opportunity Transfer Scholars Program for Maryland community college students. This program offers a scholarship for four semesters of study—and includes comprehensive academic, career, and research support.

Eligible candidates should:

  • Be a student from a Maryland community college, admitted to the Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland for the Fall 2018 semester, or a student at the University of Maryland who attended a Maryland community college and will be transferring to the Clark School of Engineering as an internal transfer student in Fall 2018
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Demonstrate financial need as identified by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and as determined by the UMD Office of Student Financial Aid

To be considered, candidates should apply to the University of Maryland by March 1, 2018 and complete the scholarship application by March 8, 2018.
