ENAE 631 Technical Paper
Technical paper requirements:
- The topic must be about some aspect of vertical flight technology, and it should be related to aerodynamics.
- Try not to make the topic too broad.
- The content of the paper is to be at the level of a person with a technical knowledge about vertical flight aircraft, but not is necessarily a specialist in aerodynamics.
- The topic title must be submitted to the instructor by email for approval no later than COB October 10. Topic titles received after this date will get a zero credit for the complete exercise.
- The paper must be no more than 10 units long, where 1 unit equals one page of double spaced text or 1 full-size figure. Papers that do not meet these criteria will be returned ungraded.
- Sub figures are acceptable. Do not use more than 2 figures on a page.
- Papers must be written in double spaced text using text with12pt fonts. Times New Roman is preferred.
- If in doubt about acceptable formats, please ask.
- Papers must have a Title Page, a short Abstract, an Introduction, Discussion, Conclusions and References.
- Overly mathematical papers are discouraged.
- The title page does NOT count toward to the total number of pages.
- Papers must be concise and precise.
- A good balance of text and figures is recommended.
- Final papers must be submitted no later than COB November 21st
